Cask @ Wetherspoon, Elgin. Clear stra with 1 finger white head. Aroma of lemon hop, bit of cereal malt. Taste - lemon hop, cereal, not much taste but more than expected at 3.6%. Palate - citrus hop, bit bitter, abrupt dry finish. Slighty metallic. Overall - OK drinkable golden beer, bit boring though.

Cask at the Hamilton Hall, JDW. Golden pour with a moderate, white head. Nice bread on the nose, some straw and citrus. Restrained sweetness in the flavor, doughy malts, some citrus, light grass and straw bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Clean, refreshing finish, lingering bready malts, some hop presence. Very smooth-drinking beer.

Hazy golden colour, white head. Nose is sour, fruity, apples indeed. Flavour is citric, sour fruits, bit of honey. Medium bodied, chewy. Very refreshing. Sour and slightly dry finish. Easy drinkable.

(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 7 Aug 2007) Golden yellow colour with short, creamy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of lemon, green apples (Granny Smith) and a hint of wheat-flour dough (?). Fruity taste with citrus, dough, green apples and grassy hops in a rather short finish. Hardly exciting, but very summery and very sessionable. Quite enjoyable.

Hook Norton Beer Festival 22-07-06. Pale golden colour, quite hoppy aroma, sweet tasting some honey flavours swirling around in there and citrus perhaps. This really was a very decent session beer kept in good nick, that for taste really punched above it’s weight of only 3.6%. Really enjoable.
