Cask @ D’Ale, Rochdale. Golden with a creamy head. A hoppy brew with some bitterness, it also has a mild soapy-sweetness.

Cask at the Crosse Keys. Pours clear gold with a foamy head. Malty, sugary nose with hints of flowers and straw. Flavor is very sweet, some doughy bread, light citrus, honey and floral, light grass bitters. Medium to full in body with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet, notes of sugar, clover, dough and hay. Pretty alright.

Cask handpull at Green Man JDW Poultry. Classic. You rate a beer and some bleedin Dane got there before you by two days. Clear gold beer with lasting white head. It has some honey features on a strong English golden ale with some straw hops on the finish. Its fine even drinkable with good condition. One thing I would say is that the alcohol is a little raw and there is some barley sugar style empty malts here too. Ok but for this slightly empty burnt honey flavour..

Cask at The Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon, 28-07-07 Poured nice golden colour with good clarity. tasted initially very soap, I took it back as I initially thought that maybe the pipes had been cleaned through and some solution had come through with the beer, beer was tried again with another one pulled through still tasted soapy just couldn’t get on with this at all had to ask for it to be chucked and had a Purity Gold.
