Cask at the WIllow Walk (JDW), Victoria. Hazy straw with a loose white head; and a lemon aroma; light refreshing citrus flavour with a wheaty body, but lacking the density and intensity of a true Witbier; the finish is toasty, missing any sign of spice.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 27/03/2011. Golden and slightly hazy with a decent white head. Light notes of coriander and lemon with some sweetish malts and gently bitter finish. Ok.

Cask handpull at Spoons Lord Moon of the Mall. Clear pale gold thin lasting white head. Soap spice coriander aroma. Full on wit beer eith spice. Some hop in end. Not too soapy. Pretty goid interpretation of the style I thought. Pretty drinkable but definitely spicey..

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear gold pour, light white film. Spices on the nose, backed by doughy malts. Plenty more spice in flavor, bit of coriander, mild yeast, some sugary malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly warming on the finish with a bit more sugar coming through. Faint grass bitterness. A nice beer overall.

From cask at Willow Walk. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity to slight citrusy. Light malty, fruity and slight spiced. Medium dry coriander note, vague citrusy yet mainly dry towards estery. Ends dry and slight spiced.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden. Curious cardamom aroma. Sweet and lightly fuity. Loads of cardamom, some vanilla and ginger. Medium bodied with some light salty bitterness. A spiced ale that works - at least to a certain extent.

Cask@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Colour is golden and the head is white and foamy. Aroma is very much anis with some clove in it. Flavour is also spicy of anis and clove. Some slight hints of wheat and caramel also. A very weird mix of flavours in this one.
