500ml bottle conditioned: BB 28th Nov 19. Drank at home on 21st Sep 19. Red hue to the mahogany body, beige head that faded to a wisp pretty swiftly. Malty nose and initial taste, some good bitterness in the flavours too. Nice!

13/1/2019. Bottle from Flower Farm Shop, Godstone. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, chocolate and dried fruit, with slight peppery notes. Medium to heavy sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Sweet, fruity, toffee finish. Pretty decent brew.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Vague malty caramel aroma. Chestnut. Thick creamy off-white head. Light bitter. A slightly sour edge to it. Malty base. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Low key fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Easy drinking. Enjoyable on a Friday lunchtime.

Cask at the Claret. It pours clear deep brown with a medium off-white head. The aroma is rich, sweet toffee, light cocoa, wood, leather and brown bread. The taste is smooth, rich, bitter - sweet, toffee, dark fruits, wood, light spice, chewy malt and brown bread with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great condition. Rich and pretty flavoursome. Good bitter.
