La Brice est une bière limpide, brillante et légère. Une mousse fine et blanche qui colle au verre couvre une blonde au nez frais au goût bien équilibré entre houblon et pointe d’épice.

F: huge white diminishing to thin coat long lasting. C: hazy golden. A: like fruity, spicy /ginger? , elder? /, fine hops, yeast and malt. T: for me very good like fruity, ginger, coriander, floral bitterness, strange but nice earthy notes like elder/vegetable, different and very good.

First grain dórge beer ... I wonder how that happened ? Found - of all places - in a tiny GB ( supermarket chain in Belgium that usually only sells macros ... WTF ??? ) Bottle at home . Pours clear blonde, ok white head . Smell is a specific kind of sweet . Honey with a twist ? Spices ? Its on the tip of my tongue . So familiar , yet so different . yeasty . Taste is bit bitter , vegetable ( green ) earthyness ( = spices that I mentionned before ) Carbonation is very OK . Mouthfeel is nice enough as well . Nothing outstanding to me , yet clearly different and rather unique in taste . Makes me thirsty for more beers by them ( i wonder why and how I always missed this brewery with apparently a lot of beers ? )

Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is big yeast, rich malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a woody resin alcoholic palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A malt alcohol bomb!

’Edelbier’ with dense, snow white, thinnish head and light golden blonde colour, clear but with a veil of dusty yeast particles all around. Yeasty and earthy aroma of apple, gooseberry, hay, aniseed, lemon peel, fennel seed, straw, flowers and cheese. Light, fruity taste, bit mineral-like, dry, rooty and spicy with a certain sourishness, finishing with mild herbal hop bitterishness and some warming alcohol.

11/X/2012 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ Erwin's place - BB: VII/13 (2012-1131) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Little cloudy blond beer, lots of pretty big chunks settling at the bottom, creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, white candi sugar, bit dusty, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: some citrus, grains, candi sugar, pretty sweet, hoppy bitterness, fruity, peaches, a bit off. Aftertaste: bitter hops, citrus, bit soapy, some candi sugar, some cardboard, bitter dry ending.

7/10/7/10/5/10

33cl bottle @ home. Clear yellow / golden color, medium sized fizzy and lively white head. Smell malts, a sour hint, yeast and herbs. Taste malts, herbs, lightly sweet-bitter. Most of the taste is dominated by high, fizzy carbonation. Low to medium body.
