Cask At the Gordon Highlander, Inverurie. It pours crystal clear golden - blonde with a well appointed frothy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, floral, honeysuckle, daisies, summer meadow, clean, mellow bread and biscuit undertones. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, pleasing level of bitterness which lingers, straw, fresh floral character, fragrant, peppery spice, jasmine tea and a touch of bread and biscuit with a dry finish. Average body and fine, but lifting carbonation. Comes together very well. Clean and chuggable with a nice floral character.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 16th October 2012. Amber. Dying head vanishes. Fruity, slightly cheesy aroma. Vanilla and floral hops in-mouth, with some grass. Finish is floral, grassy and herby. Light mouthfeel and a fair amount of body for the strength.

Cask @ Old Mill, Brodie (beer fest). Straw coloured ale with white head. Aroma - distinctive lemon, citrus hops, floral notes (from elderflower). Taste - lemony, slight grape notes, citrus hops, aromatic flowers. Short, slight bitter finish with lemon. A nice refreshing beer, but the floral notes were a bit strong. Caingorm Trade WInds is brewed with elderflower, but the floral component tastes quite different to me, blending more harmoniously in the taste profile.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Gold, slight haze. Perfumed golden ale. Bit earthy, too perfumed for me.
