On tap at Goose Island Brewhouse Chicago. Black beer lasting tan head. Big heavy dark chocolate aroma in a good foreign stout way. Nicely lower carbonation. Some lovely dark chocolate with a little dark cherry. Dry finish. Best beer here so far. Still lacks a little body but the dark chocolate flavour is lovely.

Sample at the Clybourn brewpub. Pours dark brown-black with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and caramel. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, roasted grains and mild hops. The finish is roasty with a sweet malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Enjoyed at Goose Island Clybourn in Chicago, IL after drinking a ton at Delilah’s winter beer fest. Aroma chocolate and in a way nitrogen (not sure if it’s a nitro-pour brew), smells slightly carbonated. Appearance pure black with a rich off white head. Taste nice and creamy, rich, chocolatey, very good.
