March 2008. Dry but also watery. Very mild honey and marmalade. A bit too watery.

[cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] A very light bitter, pronounced honey flavour, would make a great session beer. Not a classic but I feel I could drink a lot of this. Well balanced.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Gold with a thin white head; distinct pear aroma; creamy and fizzy in the mouth in a sherbert sort of way, malty with again some pear flavour; short bitter finish.

Cask at The Penny Black,JDW, Bicester, Oxon, 29-03-08 Light amber with a creamy head sat around the edges and a mist of head across the surface. Pleasant bitter some light fruity characteristics but a little watery, lacking sparkle and a tad uninteresting but its ok.

Cask handpull at Wetherspoons, JDW, Folkestone. Gold with lasting beige head. Biscuity bitter. Faint malt/hop aroma. Decent session bitter with just enough hop on the end to make it suppable. Good condition. Nice mouthfeel, some yeast character. Hops on finish are bitter and tasty.
