Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Moor Vaults in Bermondsey. Pours mostly clear, deep brown with a creamy, khaki head. Overall, really well balanced. Soft roast, moderate sweetness, brown bread, subtle piney bitterness, semi-ripe citrus fruits. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with touches of piney resin, more mild roast, well toasted brown bread. Highly drinkable.

3/VIII/19 - 33cl can from the Moor Bermondsey Tap Room, shared @ the hotel room, BB: 6/III/21? An IPA that's good for 2 years after canning??? - (2019-1146)
Clear red brown beer, very big creamy beige head, bit fizzy, falls down quickly. Aroma:very malty, soft roast, caramel, grains, hay, cow fodder, some mocha and chocolate. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit soapy, malty, pretty bitter, roasted, mocha, caramel, coffee. Aftertaste: dry, bitter, pretty roasted, mocha, malty, grains, hoppy, hint of citrus. Not much IPA left 5 months after packaging. Don't want to know what it would taste like after 2 years.

On tap at the brewery tap Bermondsey. very dark brown clear lasting beige head. hoppy aroma. a bit like a black ipa. but more like a hoppy American brown ale. way over carbonated. asked for a spare glass to pour it into . yes a malty brown ale with grapefruit lime hop over the top. it's ok. spritz hoppy finish. not really my style but ok.
