Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Hazy, pale gold. Dense, lasting, sticky, white head. Lemon meringue. Flora and fauna. Nettle leaves. Light spice. Yeast. Taste is dry, spicy and yeasty. Palate is clean, fresh and lively. Finish has tart, light sourness. Very natural. Very earthy. Lovely.

Pours hazy copper with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, orange, pepper and hint of alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long slightly warm, fruity, pepper and yeasty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, Citrus, würzig. Geschmack würzig malzig, Citrus, minimal bitter, hefig.

Hazy dark yellow colour. Aroma has grass, hay, pear, hop. Flavour is sweet, sour and bitter. Pear drops giving tartness, a touch of banana sweetness in the finish and a generally dry hoppy background throughout.

750 from Yamaichi. Rich, fragrant saison nose with biscuity pale malts, lemon, light spiciness. Clean and fresh. Clear golden with a low, fine head. Very lemony, hoppy flavor, light yeasty spiciness, tingly peppery, with solid but not heavy malts, bread, very nicely bitter finish. Somewhat oily, soapy palate, but perfect weight. Great balance. Very nice stuff. Quite convincing. A good example of Fantome at its best.

Dezent säuerlicher Antrunk, hefig, leicht fruchtig. Sehr hefig, fruchtig bleibend. Vollmundig werdend, runde Würzigkeit, etwas hefiger. Rund, würzig, typisch Fantome. 8/10/9/9/10/9

Bottle. Funky barnyard, smoky horseblanket and light floral aroma. Slightly hazed brassy gold with a minimal head. Tastes like the nose, funky smoky barnyard and horseblanket. Light body, soft carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle shared at the Theydon Bois Roma Pre-Nuptuals Tasting at Ma Che. Pours hazy orange-gold with a creamy white head. Nose of wheat and yeast, some smoke and minerals. Light to medium sweet flavor with more minerality, lemon and wheat notes. Medium bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish with more minerals, mild tartness, dried wheat, lemon. Nice stuff overall.

Candy-gold with a thin, off-white head. Aroma is off....skunked, Band-Aid, a hint of wood smoke. Smoke and melted plastic taste. Not pleasant.

Bottle. Lactic lemon, smoky malt, and band-aid aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet lemon, malt and plastic flavor. Would be good without the chlorophenol issues.
