Borefts Beer Festival 7th edition day 1 25/09/2016. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is tart apple, semi swet malts. Flavour is composed of rich semi malts, tart rapberry, mellow yeast. Palate is soft carboantion. ok.

Pours orange into the bottle. No head and virtually no visible carbonation. Quite in contrast to the picture and most of the reviews. I had no idea what this was going in and expected from looks that it was a lambic. Smell is in the direction of fermented apple or melon. Hints of mushroom. Taste is tart raspberry, but also something vaguely rotting. Should I really be drinking this? Palate is flat and lifeless. Has a redeeming fruitiness despite the rotting notes that kept it from being a total flop. Went down like a yeasty fruit lambic past its expiration. May be a bad bottle, although well before the expiration date of 02/18.

orangerød farge med luftig hvitt skum. Lukter av sure bringebær. Fruktig og klar bringebær i smaken også. kjenner godt alkoholvarmen i avslutningen.

Hazy amber, offwhite head. Aroma has blackcurrant and hints of yeast. Thick, almost cloying sweet flavour blackcurrant with notes of yeast and citrus. Interesting but somewhat out of balance.

330 ml bottle. Slightly unclear reddish amber body with an off-white head. Aroma is fruity and raspberry with malt and some alcohol. Flavor is sweet with a rather strong, almost artificial raspberry flavor, spicy and some alcohol in the background. Full bodied and long lasting sweet berry aftertaste.

33cl bottle. Light copper pour with a medium white head with decent retention. Smells of raspberry jam, caramel, prunes, raisins and a bit of cola. Sweet and slightly sour taste, with notes of raspberry and strawberry jam, caramel and a metallic note in the aftertaste.
