28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Hazy orange, lasting, small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe orange, mango, mellow onion, mandarin peel, pepper, breadcrust. Taste is light fruity sweet, orange & mango, bready & yeasty, medium hoppy bitterness of mandarin peel, onion, somewhat piney-grassy, leading to a dry, piney hoppy finish, quite bitter, where yeast & ripe fruit linger. Medium body, slick oily texture, soft carbonation. Quite good.

Bottle at CBC Islington, thanks to Fergus. It pours hazy orange - amber with a massive white head. The aroma is bready, brioche, cereal, touch of banana, cereal, nougat and candied citrus. The taste is dry, bitter ,earthy, woody, pithy citrus, grassy, soda water, minerals, dirt, must and barnyard. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Perhaps a bit wishy-washy. Carbonation is also far too high. Fair.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Fergus. Pours hazy orange-gold with a big, fluffy white head. Dry, pithy citrus on the nose, crispy grains. Light sweet flavour with strong grassy bitterness, lots of husky grains, old lemon rind. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Dry and bitter in the finish, more grass, husky grains. So so.
