Bottle at the Salisbury Arms. A malty aroma and a deep dark brown in the glass. The flavour was malt and bitter chocolate with a very smooth and chewy mouthfeel. It was however very rich and one was enough.

330 ml bottle, shared with Affensteve. Pours with a deep, dark brown color and a small tan head. Nose of roasted nuts, cocoa, milk chocolate, malty. Taste follows the nose. some Vanilla flavors. Wasn´t a good idea to have the Omnipollo Noa first...

Bottle from ŽižkOFF. Darker cola body, tan head. Soft, dry cocoa aroma, slightly sweetish. Well balanced taste, very light for the ABV, cocoa, some background maltiness, a bit dusty. The cocoa notes are classically lovely, but I'm missing some coffee touches myself and some body, but I would gladly try it again.

Bottle from Beer Dock, Crewe Like drinking liquid chocolate this. Comes through strongly on the nose, along with hints of ginger. Pours almost black with a lively pale cream head that soon dissipates. Mouth feel is chocolate again, plus coffee, molasses and raisins. And the finish - well chocolate yet again ! All in all very nice, but slightly disappointing in that the porterishness doesnt come though. [ It could be any (darkish) beer with added chocolate ]
