(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a tall foamy white head. Yeasty, wheaty and slightly cara-malty aroma with a tinge of spices and peachy fruitiness. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a slightly spritzy carbonation. Yeasty, cara-malty and slightly wheaty taste with a fruity touch and spicy notes towards the finish, accompanied by a rather rough hoppy and yeasty bitterness. 09.X.11

Aaaaaah. Found a lost rate among my notes! At the Fiere Margriet, Leuven Poured ahazy orange body with a huge white head that went away slowly. Nose, honey, orange peel, maybe a bit grainy. The taste reveals it to be a simple dryish dusty tripel with weak honey overtones, dry, slightly too dry too really be refreshing, slightly chalky, weak pear notes, light acidity (from hops?). Hmm. Lemony in some way. Regular Tripel, that didn’t blow my mind, and could be improved upon, but that I liked anyway. Glad to have been able to elaborate on my old rating from memory.
