Savanna Premium Cider first Siyavanna’d in 1996. Damn, we’re older than Black Twitter. But you know in 27 years you lay down a lot of roots. And like the trees our apples are grown on, our roots go deep. Which means though a lot has changed since ’96 – the way we bring Savanna to the people hasn’t, and never will. Shared 330 ml clear bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Pale golden colour, sparkling. Simple but nice apple aroma and flavour, medium dry but still some residual sweetness. Fair enough.

Fra flaske på RBHD-samling på Bjørnøy, juni-18: klar lys korngul med ok skum. Mild eplearoma og -smak med lett syrlig avslutning. Lisensprodusert i Belgia, og abv er 5.0, iflg etiketten.

Bottle - Green dessert apples. Clear gold with a small white head. Light sweet, fleshy apple with just a touch of peel. Considering what it is, it's not too sweet or artificial tasting and quite decent.

Bottle. Clear yellow color with white head. Aroma is custard, artificial apples, parmesan. Taste is vanilla, sweet apples, kinda dry in the back, ok - but very artificial in flavour... Foamy carbonation. Not for me.

Bottle from a convenience store in Phuket. Light yellow pour with some faint foam on tip. Nose has light apple, measured acidity. Taste has light sweetness, dry acidity, apple is quite strong. Some fruits and candy sugar sweetness carry it for a while until it succumbs to nothingness. Average, run-of-the-mill cider I guess.

Bottle. Cleaer golden body with a white head that disappears quite fast. Aroma is light apple with relatively much sulfide. Flavor is light apple that feels a bit like thin apple juice with less sulfide than expected from aroma. Body is thin and watery, aftertaste has more sulfide and feels sweeter. Not very impressive and frankly rather boring. Feels a bit watered down version of an average apple cider.

F: thin, some bubbles. C: pale gold, clear. A: sweet apples, apples peels, white sugar. T: dry apples juice, bit red apples, not very sweet, refreshing but average all together, medium body and lower carbonation, 0,33l bottle from local Indian supermarket in Baie Lazare, Seychelles.
