THANKS Kraddel! 650 ml. split by 2. Bottled on 03/11/2014. Pours black as usually very little brief mocha head. Smells like a cookie, wow!, huge & very intense cinnamon & coconut cookies smell, cacao, chocolate syrup but cinnamon is insanely big, huge coconut & cookies. Taste is huge cinnamon, cookie, huge sugar, coconut, sweetens very thick coconut water, warming, less body than usual for these but also feels almost a bit thin compared to usual, alcoholic cinnamon & coconut cookies. Amazing even if probably my least favourite variety probably so far, needed to be even thicker maybe? Unlike most looking at the ratings, I slightly preferred the 2013 version which while less in your face coconut had the intense heaviness of the base beer more but given how good this is, I am nitpicking.

Thnx Geoff ! pours black. Small grey head. Smell is cinnamon. some coconut. Taste is intense, dark malts, cinnamon ( intense ) chocolate, as well as coconut. Totally and completely different tasteprofile than the 13 edition. Sweet, thick, rich, brown sugar. Bit boozy, but def not too much. Tastes really simple, sweet, rich, boozy and bourbon-ish Good, very good ! but not the greatest ever to me

Bigger tasting at Ronny’s flat, Copenhagen. Opaque dark brown beer, short lived pale tan head. Smooth dark malts. Big sweet coconut, massive! Intersects with the dark chocolate malts to bring big Bounty Bar. Fruity whisky. Spice. Light semi dry finish. Lovely.

Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Thanks, Chris, for sharing the Chicago goodness. Pours oily black with a creamy, beige head. Rich toasted coconut in the aroma, plenty of chocolate, slight cinnamon, roast. Medium to big sweet flavor with rich and gooey chocolate, oily coconut, other impressions of cinnamon. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation, and lightly oily texture. Rich finish, with lingering chocolate and coconut. Excellent beer overall. So drinkable for the strength.

Bottle split at RBWG, Coppertail Brewery Tampa, massive thanks to Chris from Chicago, 21/02/15. A worth beer for ’Stouties’ rate #2K. Rich black with a dirty tan swirl and edgeing. Nose is rich roast, milk chocolate Bounty Bar, spice, malt, subtle BA tones. Taste comprises decadent chocolate notes, roast malt, cocoa nibs, coconut shavings, light whisky chase, molasses, light charr. Full bodied, fine carbonatin, lightly warming alcohol in the close. Solid impy, well balanced, a pleasure to drink, alcohol kept well in check.

[2/13/15] Bottle sample at Sante Adairius Rustic Ales in Capitola. Thanks anonymous guy who shared! Didn’t realize it’s a new one, but at least I tried a bit anyway. Lovely big chocolate and vanilla and a bit of coconut. Thick. Really great stuff.
