We like to think this is an ale for everyone who believes you make your own luck. We sure did. And the result is a well-balanced, soulful IPA with just the right amount of hoppiness. An even keeled ale that goes down clean and refreshing, but still lets you know it’s been doted on by the Brewmaster. It’s true to it’s IPA heritage, but also highly drinkable. Lucky U. And we seriously mean that.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, King of Prussia, PA. Amber with a loose cream head; piney hop aroma; rich caramel malt flavour with some decent grapefruit bitterness and a slight zing to the finish from the hops. An easy drinking IPA.

Can. Hazy amber body. Off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, floral hops, resin, caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture and moderate carbonation. Soupy with ill-defined tastes. But one taste that sticks out of a a slight medicinal flavor.

Nice IPA - the safe alternative to Breckenridge’s monster 471 IPA - plenty of hops and well balanced.

Pours clear amber with a small off-white head that dissipates with decent lacing; and that is the best part of this beer. Aroma is soft, with notes of pine and citrus, with a little malt. Taste is piney, grassy with a medium bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy orangey-straw. Not much head on this one. Relatively mild, earthy and grapefruity aroma. Fairly bland taste without much nuance. Hops are huge on this one, but there is maybe a hint of woodiness. Not working as an IPA, and not that great in any other style either.

Pours a rather cloudy, golden-yellow, with thin head. Citrus/floral aroma and flavor, with a rather unpleasant, bitter hop finish.
