Bottle shared during Cott Wines Convention; cheers John for bringing this along, dark black pour with a thin tan head, aroma has chocolate and some decent coffee action, taste has a hint of vanilla, smooth roast malts, dark fruits, coffee.

Bottle, split at Cotteridge. Black. Ring of dense, tan head. Nose has leather and dark chocolate. Vine fruits. Some coffee. Taste is sweet, mostly, with some tar like bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Sweet and tangy finish.

Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2018. Black beer lasting tan head. soy sauce aroma. Soy sauce. Some heat on finish. Some smooth dark chocolate some vanilla. Bit hot. Liquorice.

Bottle shared in London - cheers John! Pours black-brown with a small, creamy, tan head. Lightly sweet, some toasted caramel, berries, torched earth and cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with further ripening, dark berries. So so overall.

Bottle split at L6, thanks to John for passing this on, 22/05/18. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is mellow coffee bean, roast malts, dark fruit rinds, charr, cocoa powder. Taste comprises tangy dark fruits, roast malts, toffee, black peppery spice, charr. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to John! Hope there is no sand in his vagina. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth and tangy dark malts, slightly sourish dark chocolate. Tangy dark fruits. Trace of wood. Smooth semi dry finish. A bit tangy.

Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting. 22/05/2018. A dark brown black coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is sweet Marshmallow, brown sugars, toffee. Flavour is composed of brown sugars, toffee, apple, green apple, vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, vanilla. Oily, moderate carbonation.

8 3 8 3 16Bottle shared by the brewer. Black with a thick beige head. Aroma of licorice, raisins, overripe dark fruits, caramel, dark malts, fruity rum. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Cheers John!
