Gold with a frothy, white head. Aroma of mixed grains with a dash of lime. Taste is grainy bitter the whole way through with a faint metallic note at the end. Body to the light side of medium, slightly watery texture. Dull.

From Beer Drop. Canned 08/03/2022.
Pours a clear straw yellow with a small and short lived head of foam. Still, there is some lacing.
The smell is of grain, corn, hints of perhaps, lime?
The taste is grainy, some corn, light sweetness, kinda bitter, no sign of any lime that I thought I smelled.
Light bodied, plenty of carbonation.
Interesting but the name exceeds the beer itself.

12 oz. can from HEB, Boerne, TX. Pours a clear straw gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Zero lacing. No aroma at all. Sweet grainy corn lager flavor with a short finish and no bitterness. Light body. Medium carbonation, which is less than I expected. Clean and smooth. Just a good, basic, repeatable macro lager. Not really interesting though.

Sampled from the tap at the Portland location. Pours a clear gold with a yellow hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has lots of straw and grain with a growing hay note. Flavor is hay forward with a bit of bread and a growing grass note in the finish.

12 oz can. Aroma is corny, wet hay fields, latex. Pours lightly hazy golden with a one finger white head with good retention, leaving sheets of lace. Taste has a beautiful herbal bitterness alongside some sweet crackery malt. I love me a good bitter lager, and this is one. Nothing at all like a Mexican lager, though.

Draft at brother jon’s alehouse. Pale golden, clear, scant head. Cereal aroma gets fuller in the taste, bready, crackers, mild sweetness, light crispness. Not necessarily interesting, but pretty damn good.

Clear golden with white head. Thin bodied. Cereal grain aroma. Similar flavor with very faint earthy hops. Not that interesting.

Can from MItsuya. Pours a crystal clear straw with a finger of white foam. Light corn, crackery malts and grassy notes. Clean and crisp on the palate with a slightly soft mouthfeel. Very straightforward pale lager without much going on. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Most Interesting Lager in the World on 19 May 2016 at 21:05 - Score: 6.
