With Aloha Sculpin, we used Brux Trois yeast to turn our award-winning IPA into a tropical oasis, with bright and refreshing notes of mango, pineapple and guava, along with a slight haze and smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle from Alko. Slightly hazy golden color with a thin white head. Tropical juicy, pineapple, mango and grapefruit. Flavors are juicy hops, pineapples, the usual. Crisp.

Bottle. Fairly hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of pineapple, pears, grapefruit, crackers. Fruity but vague rather than vibrant. But a sip defines things a bit more - the bitterness of normal Sculpin rescues this for me. A slight tartness or is that the citrus against sweet tropical fruit? Tasty and refreshing but not quite harmonious.

Flaska från SB. Mörkt gyllengul, lätt disig vätska med krämigt vitt skum. Söt doft av mogen tropisk frukt, färskpressad grape, tall och resin. Precis som orginalet en stor maffig IPA som sätter smakerna och balansen riktigt bra. Lite mer frukt här och riktigt gott.

Tap at Kultainen Apina, Tampere. Color is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, tropical fruits, pineapple, hops and malts. Tasty west coast IPA.

Bottle sourced from Systembolaget Hansa, Malmö - pours a orange colour with a small white head. Tropical citrus fruity with some nice hits of grapefruit and tangerine, some mango and peachy notes, sweet malty support, resinous semi dank hoppy into the finish.

Bottle. A- Pond water, hoppy, citrus. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Slightly bitter, subtle funk, grassy, dank, citrus, bread dough. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Not sure how this was supposed to taste. I'd call it an avant-garde IPA. A touch of mild funk with a touch of bitterness. Different. Okay.

Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt tykt hvitt skum. Lukter sitrus, aprikos og blomster. Middels fylde og bitterhet. Floralsk smak, aprikos, sitrusskall og lett trevirke.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a near clear copper body that supports a thin white head of foam. The mild aroma offers up grapefruit, pineapple and a thin sense of tangelo. The taste delivers bitter grapefruit and orange zest hoppiness followed by a mild level of citrus hop juiciness. Pretty nice where the yeast choice creates a more subdued flavor profile where the malts are a little more forward than usual.

Keg at the brewery taproom - San Diego. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds rindy, semi-ripe citrus fruits, oranges, pine. Light-medium sweet flavour with more citrus rind, orange, grapefruit, melon, mild piney bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish, lightly warming, more rind. Not bad.
