A low-alcohol Berliner Weisse style ale, acidified and matured in French oak puncheons for 6 months is the base for this beer. 1000 lbs. of fresh local Santa Maria raspberries are added for a secondary wild fermentation for 4 more months. A crisp effervescent concoction, bursting with raspberry perfume and flavor, a rosé color, bracing acidity, and a clean and refreshing finish.

From tap at One Mile House, New York. Big puckering sourness with an aroma of tart berries, raspberry, and bretty funk. Mild acidic sourness, nicely puckering. Body is medium. Lovely stuff.

Bottle. A- Mild brett, mild raspberry, slightly sharp. A- Bronze color, clear liquid, white head. T- Raspberry, tart, mild balsamic vinegar, slightly tannic. P- Medium body, average texture, high carbonation, tart finish. O- 5 years old and still highly carbonated. Pretty tasty stuff. The raspberry was a bit weak and slightly sharp but overall, a great beer.

2017 bottle. Reddish amber with a near white head that's soon a fat coat and lacing. Lovely raspberry aroma with the full spectrum of sharp, juicy, hairy and reduced. In the taste there's just a little marzipan and bretty twigginess but really it's all about the raspberries. Gently sour, slightly slippery; dry and subtly oaky at the end. I'd have guessed the berries would have faded a fair bit by now, but seems not. Fabulous beer.

Mycket gott

Hazy golden with a medium sized foamy head. Tart and dry with brett, mustiness, lime and grape. Very long finish. Medium body.

375 ml bottle, badge No. 005. Pours unclear dark orange, almost no head. Barrel notes, red currant, funky brett notes, glue, white balsamic vinegar, light raspberry, lactic acid, lime juice, salt. Acidic fruity sourness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry sour finish. A nice beer, but too sour.
