Draft. A- Tart, brett, mild acidic fruits. A- Gold color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Mild funk, slightly acidic. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, tangy finish. O- Complex yet simple on the palate. Would've liked to compare it to Batch 6 but didn't get a taste of that one. No single flavors stand out but it was a bright brew.

4 oz. draft sample Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Boston, 23 September, 17. Flavor is barnyard, lacto, sour grain. Finish is well rounded funky grapefruit, oak barrel, moldy apricots, and a bit to much acidity. Funky blue cheese notes. I sort of see the appeal for this beer. Sort of.

Sample at Kurtkeller 023: Firestone Walker-tastic 01 on 06/18/2016. Cloudy apricot color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of funky yeast, oak, peach and citrus, and doughy malt. The finish is mildly sour with a citrus and funky brett aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bottle thanks to Felipe! Pours clear orange, small fizzy white head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is very oaky, notes of Brett funk, some cherry, basement mustiness, damp leaves. Flavor has a touch of initial sweetness, drying out fast. Medium tart, puckering at first, light funkiness, notes of fruits, lemon and tons of oak. A bit earthy. Medium body, high carbonation.
