This brown ale has a marked ruby brown colour with a gen-erous and lasting head. It has a distinctive aroma reflecting the wide range of ingredients used in its production. The fruitiness resulting from its fermentation blends harmoni-ously with a dominant liquorice and caramel flavour. The body is decidedly malty. The bitterness is the result of a complex alchemy between the fine hops and special malts used. These give St-Feuillien Brune a typical dark chocolate appearance. This beer creates an endless variety of sensations with a lingering taste and powerful aroma.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb xx/03/2026 - can't read first two digits). Dark amber brown with full beige head. Burnt caramel, Belgian yeast, feint floral note, mild dark dried fruits. Decent, though the floral note is slightly out of place.

Pours a dark ruby-brown with ice beige head. Aroma of malts, spice, caramel, raisins. Taste has a raisin and plum fruitiness with caramel, liquorice, brown bread crusts. Medium bodied, fine slightly frothy carbonation on the palate. It's a tasty Dubbel.

Normally brune is one of my least favourite styles. But this was a very nice surprise! Almost as good as their blonde, which is really good. This reminds me a bit of the really good reds I had in Ireland.

En cáliz, color ámbar oscuro, turbia, espuma beige cremosa y bien conservada. Aroma a malta tostada, chocolate, frutos negros, regaliz. Primer trago entra dulce, sedoso y bastante maltoso, abriéndose de inmediato hacia un matiz mas amargo con contundentes notas de cacao y regaliz. Cuerpo completo, textura casi oleosa, trago corto, retrogusto ligeramente dulce y moderadamente amargo, final largo y seco. Bastante cálida en boca.
