Tap @ Kafe Belgie, medium sample, served in a shaker. Dark brown color, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, licorice, bit toffee, slight peat. Soft sweet taste, medium bitterness from roast as well as hop, slight dry barrel notes, not too boozy. Soft carbonation, medium body. Seems more peated whisky than bourbon to me? I asked the guys from kafe Belgie and they were wondering as well, although the keg clearly mentioned Jack Daniels.

On tap at Kimchi Festival. Black, thin beige head. Aroma of hard-roasted malts, coffee, peat, whisky, wood, some vinous notes, tar. Flavour of red wine, wood, earth, peat, roasted malts, tar, coffee, bitter finish with some whisky. Medium-bodied at best, lacks a bit in that department, but otherwise really nice.
