12oz can best before 06/04/24, drunk 1/25/24. Clear, pale golden. Sweaty, funky, farmy. Wow is this a French style mass produced farmhouse trader Joe's cider? I have to say, this is nice. Sweet, not too much so, more body than sugar. Sweaty, farmy, rustic, lightly lactic. Juicy. Lingering vanilla and honey.

$1 can that mysteriously slid into my cart as I was buying groceries. Pint glass @home; 5.5%. Clear, very pale gold with a lingering, fizzy head. Sour, fresh lettuce, almost ginger soda nose. Prickly, bittersweet, doubling down, a touch watery but holding till it hits with a back-sweetened tart finish. Very slight medicinal pith & salt on the very end to savor. Snappy. This is the best $1 adult beverage I've ever had. Scary when you say it back to yourself.

This is actually a decent cider. There’s a straightforward apple aroma and flavor and it’s not overly sweet. It’s nothing too exciting but it’ll do.

On 23rd Jan 2020 I decided to change all my 34 'ticks' for no-beers into rates. Every 'tick' scored a '3', this will not change as they become 'rates'. My 'ticks' were Ciders, Meads, Perrys and Sake. This is a cider!

Sampled from a bottle this cider poured a very pale yellow color with a medium sized soapy white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was musty with apple flesh. The flavor was musty with apple flesh and mustiness. Medium length finish. Light body.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow with instantly disappearing frothy whitish head, fresh apple aroma, high carbonation, smooth sweet apple taste, abrupt finish with a bit of alcohol aftertaste.

22oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma was light apple notes, some light booze. Light sweetness. Flavor was semi-sweet apple notes. A steal at something like $2.99 a bottle.

From a bomber, came cheap from trader joes. Smells like apple juice. Was expecting a sweeter drink but this comes across a little more dry. Some decent co2 and it has a pale clear yellow look about it. Yes, pretty easy drinken, much much better than my homemade stuff. Also, this is more like real cider than woodchuck style varieties. Not so much of a soda pop feel to it, and that makes it a little more enjoyable. Goes down a little easy and it doesn’t have enough sugar to burn my tum. It sat in my fridge for a while because i was ignoring it but it turned out much better than expected. I think I even feel a tad of that ice cider attribute in there. Not bad. Overall pleasant cider experience. I think it cost me $3!

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Bland, but easy drinking cider. Slightly sweet with hints of glue, which at least cut the sweetness.
