Draft @ ACBF 2012, Moen. Hole smoke, this beer rocks.

Pours black with a gigantic head, despite very slow pouring.Nose shows cocoa, sweet dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Funnily enough the chocolate is a lot stronger than the coffee.Flavours are much more focussed on the coffee, with overt roasty characters. Underneath is sweet, syrup-like malt and a hint of acidity. I’m not sure if the coffee and sugary sweetness really work together.Way to much carbonation.

Black with a small tan head. The aroma is filled with cold coffee - of the ashtray and dark berries kind. Malty flavour with overwhelming coffee - it’s too much, but at least the beer finishes with a pretty good coffee aftertaste

Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours black with a small head. Intense aroma of freshly grounded coffee followed by roasted malt. A delicious coffee beer with taste of freshly made coffee, a bit sweet, but not too much.

Bottle @ Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours black with a small creamy head and lacings. Lovely roasted coffee malts and chocolate. Dry, smooth and bitter. Really tasty coffee profile! Straight forwarded, simple and delicious! A bit of pepper as it warms. Reminds me of De Molen Kopi Loewak only with a smoother and more pleasant carbonation level. Dopeness.
