Sweet an yeasty dark sweet Belgian beer. Good taste of dark fruits and herbs, but is bit too thin.

bottle (from Bochum?). Deep brown, creamy beige head. Full-bodied, slightly sweet with honey, also chocolate, caramel and dried fruit. Complex and delicious, anytime again.

Bottle from Belgium Beers, Antwerp, as Strandjuttersbier Mong de Vos, bb 23Aug2013
Dark brown color with dark red shades; medium sized creamy head. Strong aroma of sweet caramel and overripe fruits. Full bodied; sweet caramel flavor, with mild pleasant fruitiness; the bitterness is low.
Easy, a bit boring.

Bottle: Almost clear,reddish-amber coloured, stable creamy tanned head with a little lace, dried black berries and a delicate warm touch of alcohol in the sweet caramelly nose; moderate sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a creamy MF; sweet-fruity and slightly alcoholic finish. Pretty pleasant at first sight, but all in all too sweet and monotonous…

Opaque dark brown beer, tidy off white head. Softish palate, a little dry. Smooth malt with a little caramel. Tangy fruits and coca cola. Mild cream. Semi dry finish. Fairly well joined up. Not bad.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of cherries, malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, bread, berries, and malt, leading to a dry finish.
