bottle pours dark pink, pink head smells like heavy fruits, some sugar taste is very sugary , liquid sugar-water, with some chemical fruits ( cherry up front, but with a back of more fruit-juices . ) pretty damn arteficial .. no chemical-sprayed fruits were used . i can believe that , since i dont think ANY real fruit is used here . dont get me wrong, its not THE worst drink ever, but beer that dont taste like beer, i rate in order how much i apreciate it . as a non-beer-drink . and even than, this aint my favourite . its just to damn sugary, i’m sorry ..

Slightly cloudy pink coloured body with a bit of a copper glow and a thin, fast-dying tan head with definite pink tints. Aroma of strawberries, raspberries, sour notes, yeast and a bit of alcohol and grass coming up as well. Medium-bodied; Strong saccharin and aspartame flavours with a definite fruity note and a even more pungent grassy and herbal kick. Aftertaste shows a lot of sugars, a ton of fruit and even more pungent and not-too-pleasing tastes. Overall, not a horrible beer, but not one that I’d get again, even if it were an option! I sampled this 25 cL bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 30-June-2012 for €2,25 (date on red cap of 02-08-2012, lot 1 on side of bottle) sampled at home on the other side of the Atlantic in Washington on 03-January-2013.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Re-rate of the only beer I’ve ever given a 0.5 score. It had to be hopelessly infected that last time. This time the aroma had red fruits, sweetness, lightly tart and a bit artificial. Taste is a mix of sweetness and red fruits, a bit like cassis lemonade.. Average body and carbonation. Totally different from last time, as you can read below. Previous rating (June 17th 2012) 25cl bottle @ home shared with Thompson. When I took off the cap a part of the glass from the bottle was torn off with it. Best before date did however say November 2012. Hazy orange to amber color, no head at all. Big chunks floating in it. Smell is absolutely ridiculous: pure cleaning acid, vinegar, paint or nailpolish remover. They can’t be serious about this, this has to be infected. No joke: I puked. Bottle. Dark red color with light head. Big, fruity, syrupy aroma. lots of berries. Nasty, astringent, filthy flavor with all kinds of nasty fruit, syrup, and some harsh ass. Pretty nasty and dirty. some fruit comes through but this is just wrong.

20/05/2011 33cl bottle @ Eetkaffee Multatuli (2011-220) Thanks to Jean for the bottle!
Little cloudy copper red to ruby coloured beer under a light pink creamy head, very stable and bit adhesive. Aroma: strawberries, bit of candy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little sweet first, raspberries, then more sour, red currants. Aftertaste: a little bitter with some spices, strawberries, strawberry candy without all the sugar,. Pretty ok for a fruit beer.

Bottle. Pours pink grapefruit. White head. Nose/taste of muddled fruits, wheat, water and spicy hops in the finish. Odd.

Bottle, 5.2%. Berry fruity aroma. Cloudy pink colour, getting more purple at the bottom. OK light pink head. The flavour is fruity, some mild berries, raspberry without the citric edge, perhaps. Not so sweet.

Bottle, 33cl, courtesy of KimJohansen. It pours a clear, amber body under a nice, dense, off-white head leaving lacings. Berries in the aroma, not much else comes through. The same goes for the flavor, it’s dominated by the berries, some malty notes in the background. Medium body, rather dry. Berries finish. Overall, too much berry domination and it feels too artificial. 100814
