Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren, thanks! Black coloured, small brownish head, caramel and alcohol in the nose. Light roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits, mild barrel and some alcohol with warming finish.

Bottled, ENORMOUS thanks Papsoe! Pitch black body, traces of an off-white head. The aroma shows its age a little bit I dare say, dusty and alcoholic at first, but there is a creaminess and freshness about it, a trace citric touch. Lean taste - interesting, somehow citric, not much outright coffee or bourbon barrel - they are there but in traces, light alcohol, bitterish, slightly roasty, trace dust. Subdued but somehow cohesive and balanced - funny that, with this being a blend.

0.5 l bottle thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Black, small frothy beige head. Heavily roasty and fruity, black fruit, prunes. Some cocoa and toast aroma underneath. Soft molasses or caramel. Leather and rubber after awhile. Smooth, sweet, sticky, full body, soft, slick. Oak, molasses, roasted malts, toasted bread, dark cherry and prunes in the flavour. Heavy, complex, finishes dry, slightly tart. Lots of fruity character, interesting balance. Rich, warming, potent.

Now this is a tasty oatmeal stout. Coffee is muted and sweet, oatmeal mouthfeel and flavor, no overly roasted notes, plenty of barrel, I loved this.

Bottle shared from Vestergaard and Rasmusott. Thanks guys. Pours a jet black with a medium pretty tanned head. Aromas of coffee, booze, slight bourbon, toffee, some sweet dark fruits. Taste is very toffee up front, slight bourbon and very roasted dark coffee and some dry dark chocolate finish. Also a bit of liqorice.

Bottle from 2013. Totally my fault on this one, but holy hell this did not hold up. Bugs is working their magic here. Pours clear black, small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is roasty, hints of varnish, diaper, bourbon. Flavor is light plus sweet, a hint funky, light bourbon, cocoa, dusty. Lightish body, hot and funky, leather. Not bad, but I bet this was much better in 2013.

Mmm mm, another excellent collab from these guys. Don't pick up much of the Bourbon Barrel or coffee in the aroma and not much coffee in the flavor either. Bourbon Barrel comes out more in the Finish but overall the flavor and finish are just outstanding with a perfect mix of malt and fudge and perfect bitterness that supports strong sweetness but everything in harmony. You've got to like sweet but I do and it's not overdone.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle. Sweetish, slightly roasty-malty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate and some licorice. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, some hazelnut and a touch of vanilla, followed by a medium long, slightly roasty-bitter, rather warming-alcoholic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
