Fruity, Flavourful, Sessionable. British and German malts team up with five Yakima Valley American hops to create a vibrant and fruity red ale. As lively and colourful as the people that brew it.

(bottle, 33cl, 4.1% abv) Hazy, amber colour with a beige and firm mid-sized foamy head. Flowery, citric and delicately piney hoppy aroma with a mildly cara-malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, fuller body than the abv might suggest, crisp mouthfeel. Dry cara-malty base with present spicy, piney and fruity hops; dry and quite lasting hop bitter finish with a delicate touch of caramel in the aftertaste. Good. 26.II.13

bouteille 33cl.

Bottle at home, family Christmas gift, on 4th February 2013. Pours deep amber with soft-white lacing head of foam. Richly malty aroma. Biscuit malts and grassy hop in-mouth in addition to cheesy notes. Lingering rear-mouth grassiness in a richly bittersweet finish. A solid ale. Zingy mouthfeel and fair amount of body. Good bottle.

Keg at the Greenwich Union. It pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is pine, red berry, grape, jam and a hint of wood polish. The taste is toast, faint metallic, wood, red berry, leather and light fruit tartness with a dry finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty solid. Easy drinking amber ale.

Bottle. Clear amber liquid with medium off - white head. Aroma of grass, citrus, biscuit, earth and grain. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of grain, grass and British hops. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. All right but a bit boring.

Vielen Dank an Sean!

(Bottle) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with orange peel, rye bread, apricots and fresh floral, citric hops. Malty, slightly spicy taste with notes of crisp-bread, apricots, orange peel, a touch of honey and a gentle, citric bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, quite dry. Less hops coming through in the taste than in the nose, but still fresh, tasty and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Tap at the Old Brewery Greenwich - 02/4/12. Amber red colour with a decent slightly off-white head. Piney hop aroma, background citrus and some sweetish malt. Tastes as nose with a little grassiness and can denote grapefruit. Lightish bodied, medium carbonation and a little lingering bitterness on the finish.
