Bottle from Grumpy Goat, Reading. Deep, slightly murky brown with a thick creamy head. Funky wild yeast aroma with hints of redcurrant. In the mouth it’s exciting stuff. A nice frothy mouthfeel reveals chocolate, tobacco, blackcurrant, old wardrobes, a moderate sourness, some earth, a few flowers and a leathery dryness to finish. Some sweet vanilla lingers in the aftertaste. Yes, I like it. This. Is. Interesting.

Pent preg av flamsk brun, men kanskje litt for skarp og tørr for min smak, eller så er det bare at jeg har falt for et par andre i stilen.

Currant, crab apple, and cherry nose. Smells tart. Opaque maroon, thick yellow head, good lacing. Oak and currant flavor, cranberry finish. Finishes oaky, twigs and stems. Tart but not puckeringly sour. Medium body, not overly carbonated.
