Bottle at home from Fuller's advent calendar. A clear, ruby copper coloured pour with a fine beige cap. Aroma is brown malts, brown bread, jammy fruit, light vanilla, raspberry ripple. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered earthy toasted malts, brown bread, buurnt grass, harsh bitterness, lingering caramel swetness. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, fine carbonation. some grain husks, fine carbonation. Not bad.

Day 3 of the Fullers advent calendar. Good pour and a really deep colour in the glass. Not much but probably a bit cold. Rich malts and a real sweetness. Quite nice.

Bottle at home, from the Fuller's 2024 Advent calendar ... thanks to me, 25/11/24. Deep reddish amber topped with a lasting beige head. Nose is biscuit malt, stewed fruits, grains, touch of caramel, straw. Taste comprises fruit loaf, caramel, biscuit base, toasted grains, light sugar sprinkle, earthy dull fruits, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge. Fine for the style.

Bottle in Croydonia. It pours clear deep reddish - amber with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, malt - driven, some jammy fruits, caramel, rivita and bread. The taste is soft, bitter - sweet, brown bread, sticky, caramel, jammy, toffee, earth, wood and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. A bit sweet and flat. OK.
