375ml can from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour, with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, crisp, slightly watery, light citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

(Can) Pours clear amber with good white head. Pleasant aroma of pine and citrus with hints of pepper, bread and toffee. Light body with bright carbonation. Good taste. Hops are present all the way through in a good balanced way. There’s some pleasant bitterness in the finish. There’s some citrus tang at the start and some hints of toffee in the middle. Very drinkable.

On tap at Canvas, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of piney hops and biscuity malt in a restrained manner. Flavour is dry, with biscuity malt and dry floral hops. Nicely balanced, with a dry finish. Pretty standard pale but it works.

Growler, 8C. Gold with a white head. Aroma of hay, biscuit, some honey, kumquats, grapefruit, peach. Lightish bodied. Really quite sweet with peach, some tropical fruit, plenty of biscuit, vague citrusy hops a touch of pine. Lowish bitterness. Would have liked it a fair bit less sweetness and/or a drier and more bitter finish. But an OKish quaffer.
