Bottle, Beers of Europe. Pours amber with a frothy white head. Malty, sweet aroma. Flavour is again quite sweet , but with a good balance and a nice tangy finish. In the words of the great Larry David...’Pretteeeeey good !!’

Bottle. Amber coloured with a decent, off-white head. Aroma and flavour were malty in the main, with a touch of earthy hops and a slightly dry finish. Ok.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. This poured amber in colour with white frothy head. Whilst it had a Bass like quality it alo had a very umistakeable Belgian feel to it and if I’m being honest this really was a great marriage of the two, nice fruitiness, yeastiness on the nose and in the taste ok so it might be a touch sweeter than the Bass we’re used to but that was no bad thing and in truth I found this to be a very structured beer that I would definately have again and quite simply the best of the Inbev beers that I’ve had thus far.

Bottle from Noel Cuveliers, Belgium. Amber colour with bubbly white head. For some unknown reason I was really looking forward to this. Caramel and candy sugar aroma with flowery hop too. Some yeast. Soft in mouth. Bit sweet on the finish and to be honest a bit dead. Just too sweet for me. I agree with Silk that the hop is nice, but the rest of it, I’m not sure about.

Dieses Bier schmeckt im Mittelteil recht malzig, im Nachgeschmack fruchtig werdend. In sofern nichts neues, wie auch meine Vortester beschrieben haben. Kann man trinken - man kanns auch lassen. Test vom 23.6.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,8,6,10,12,9 - 8,90
