bottle, 2016. Pours pretty clear golden, small fizzy head, minimal lacing. Aroma is vinous, oaky, vanilla, tannin, white wine, stone fruit, lemon, basement. Flavor is light tart, light funk, bright, woody, chardonnay. Light body, low carbonation. Quite nice.

2016 bottle drunk 12/2/17.
Lightly-to-minimally hazy, light, straw-blonde with light brass hues, plentiful carbonation and a white head retained well at cover.
Dusty, leathery, very well-attenuated peach notes mix with lactic acidity and plentiful oak and wood character, though none of it toasted. Bright, fruity, vivacious Brett really carries the aroma here, with more leather, lactic acidity, cracker/biscuit malt and gentle funk behind it. No alcohol or flaw.
Delicate and yet full of interesting bacterial/Brett character, with a dry, medium-body full of tannin and wheat softness. Wood shows no toast, very little, if any, wine or whiskey. Light honey-biscuit malt balances nicely as lactic and Brett acids vie for control. Strong tartness to moderate sourness. Lemon, yogurt and snappy, fruity acidity linger.

Bouteille 750ml. Couleur orangée voilée, mousse blanche fugace. Arôme de levure, pomme, whiskey, pointe de vin rouge. Goût de levures sauvages, beaucoup de bois, acidité moyenne-faible, pomme mûre, pointe de pêche. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen.

Bouteille 75cl @ Annual Tilquin Enthusiasts Admin tasting, merci Pierre. anno 2016.

Bottle: Poured a clear bright yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some vinous notes and light funky Brett notes also noticeable. Taste is a mix of tart notes with some vinous and oak clearly identifiable with a dry funky Brett notes also easily perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Super well brewed with great drinkability and loads of complexity and depth. I can’t say I taste all of the component (peach? Whiskey?) but still very enjoyable.

Tasting at Matt’s; vintage 2016
Cloudy golden color. Wonderful aroma: cobwebs, moldy cellar, a bit cheesy, light apricot; extremely close to Lambic. Smooth mouthfeel, moderately sour, some fruit, some cellar character, brett, and moderate astringency in the final, and zests.
Very well done.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is very complex, with lots of wild yeasts, red wine barrels, and a touch of peaches. Flavour is very complex, with tons of wild yeast complexity, some vinous notes, and maybe a touch of stone fruitiness. Very funky and wild, with tons of depth. Wonderful stuff.
