Harrie is an accessible blond beer characterized by saison yeast. The daring use of different spices; szechuan pepper, mustard seed, juniper, and timut pepper give a funky twist to this traditional beer. A spicy beer with refreshing citrus flavors and a dry aftertaste.

Sampled draft @ BAF 2014. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Lots of yoghurt in the nose, hay, citrus, sweet,… Thick hay, caramel, sweet taste, thick yeast. Yeasty body. More of a so/so Belgian Ale than Saison for me.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a lacing, white head. Yeasty, spicy aroma. Medium body, again spicy - almost feels as if cardamon was added, but I’m sure it’s just the Saison yeast. A little heavy on the carbonation. But another interesting Saison from De Molen....ooop, Kaapse. Sorry. Rather bitter finish. 090914

Hazy gold beer, tiny white head. Palate is dry and crisp. Light dry malt. Light herbal bitterness, noble hop like.Touch of lemon. Dry seltzer and floralness. Light dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Just a whisper of soapiness that distracts a little, otherwise decent.
