Can. Just slightly hazy gold with a white head that's soon a coat. Aroma is lemony, mildly funky and smoky. More body than I expected with modest carbonation. Spicy and a little smoky with lemons less obviously an addition. Mildly tart and slightly bitter at the end. Lichtenhainer my arse but it has an unusual refreshing balance. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cigar City Brewing With Wayne on 26 Aug 2019 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. 440ml can. My first Lichtenhainer I believe. Hazy orange, off-white head. Smokey aroma, beech, zesty lemon. Taste is very citrusy, lemon, zest, smokiness more subtle than expected from the aroma, but almost meaty in a way, a nice balance of sour and smoke. Medium body and carbonation.

Can. Hazy yellow. Pineapple and smoke nose. Zesty, lemony sour with surprisingly subtle smokiness.

Keg at Fierce Bar. It pours hazy orangey with a medium white head. The aroma is lemon sherbet, zingy, sour gooseberry, lemon, cracker, wet hay, must, dull smoke, lemongrass and sweaty funk. The taste is crisp, dry, tangy lemony fruits, lactic, smoked cheese, salty, peppery spice, quite savoury, musty, gooseberry, lemon rind, kick of acidity, burnt oak,and some minerality. Lighter end of medium body and moderate to high carbonation. Interesting elements to it, but its a bit muddled IMO.

4.5% gose. On tap at Fuggles Beer Cafe Tonbridge. Cloudy dirty gold pale brown colour lasting white head. yes some smoke. some smoothness in the mouth. some juniper. it's quite challenging. good though. not sure what style it is. a smoked slightly sour lemon beer. interesting as hell. some bitterness on the finish. light salt but it's there. wild.
