Sample on tap at Goed Zuur. Pours a dark red color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is bright, black cherries, with some lemon juice, sugars, and hay. Sweet and syrupy, with a bright, clean sour flavor. Medium body, with a sticky, sharp mouthfeel. This is a fruit-forward sour, and delicious.

Bottle @ Bruery Bonanza. Hazy red pour with a frothy pinkish white head. Fleshy cherry & light lemon nose. Heavy sour & fruity taste. Dry & tart mouth. Simple but to the point. Nice cherry character.

750 ml bottle shared by AdamChandler. Nearly clear pink in color with soft carbonation level. Aroma is mostly cherry skin with a light lactic acid note.
The flavor is cherry, let us see.... More cheery, yep it is a cherry Berliner. Very straight forward. Nice mouthfeel.

Super hazy bright ruby coloured body with a nice, thick, five centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of cherries (Surprise), brown sugar, grain, light spices, pumpkin pie, pungent yeast and a dose of grain and a lot of sweetness in the nose. Light-bodied; Super tart with a good cherry flavour, along with a nice bite of sweetness from apples and pears and finishing with a light spicey note, also with a good yeast kick. Aftertaste is nice and tart that lingers long and has a very refreshing yeast kick, some spiciness and a hint of lemons throughout, all with a very nice cherry and fruit flavour throughout. Overall, a great beer and one that should be sampled by all, especially those who like Berliner Weisse or Sours, this is a great example of a juxtaposition of those two styles with a great cherry flavour, amazing yeast character and a good spice note for complexity. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Arrowine in Arlington, Virginia on 24-March-2017 for US$13,99 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore at Pungoteague, Virginia on 30-June-2017 for the last beer of my birthday.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma has a fairly strong cherry character with some tannins and cherry skin notes. Light citrus notes with some medium light acidity and faint yogurt notes. Light wheat notes. Pours a hazy, somewhat dark red with some orange hues on the edges and a large, somewhat thin, slightly pink head that recedes quickly and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor has a moderate acidity with some light wheat notes and a hint is sweetness. Low bitterness. Moderate cherry notes with a light juiciness but also some balanced skin notes. Some light tannins and pit notes as well. Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied with fairly high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice cherry Berliner, but not a particularly amazing one. It’s straightforward with a solid base Berliner and some balanced, nice cherry notes.

Sour and black cherry nose, farmhouse funk underneath. Pinkish rust, headless. Tart cherry, fairly intense. Lactic wheat finish. Light body, soft carbonation. Slight lambic quality, but otherwise a nice berliner weisse.
