Bottle from Geers. Clear dark golden, thinning, white head. Aroma of ripe apple, apricot, banana, white bread, grain, sugar. Taste has sweet red apple, apricot & melon, white bready & yeasty body, bit sugary, spicy phenolic edge. Grassy hoppy finish in a 'wet' way, more spices & ripe fruit & warming jenever-like alcohol. Medium body, slick-sticky texture, average carbonation. Don't care too much about these beers anymore.

Bottle. Amber color, cloudy. Pear and pineapple in the aroma. Tropical fruit, pear and yeast in the flavor. Sticky mouthfeel, tart notes. Mint in the aftertaste. Fairly pleasant brew.

Bottle shared, featuring a nice picture of a snotty but slightly shocked looking pig on the label. Cloudy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of light herbs, yeast, caramel, overripe dark fruits and candy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with light carbonation and alcohol warmth in the finish.

Thank you! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. Bottled during October 2015 according to the booklet. Very hazy brown, little head. Nose is alcoholic sweet dough, sugar, esters, yeast, candy. Taste is yeasty, basic sweet sugar, dough, lots of sweet dough, light candy, basic brown & dash of exotic sugar. Doughy & yeasty body. Very similar akin to basic sweet dough, okay but nothing that excel. Agreeable basic overly typical brew.

Winter ale with stable, snow white, sticky head and hazy amber colour with ochre glow. Aroma of orange peel, sweet peppermints, gingerbread, mango, cinnamon. Sweet spicy taste (liquorice, mint, aniseed) as expected from the aroma, candied orange, low carbonation resulting in a somewhat ’flat’ mouthfeel, caramelly malt base, finishing faintly flowery hoppy, not bitter, a bit bland, ingloriously fading away without grande finale. Something is missing here - more hops please!

330ml bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with huge, foamy, half-way lasting, off-white head, no lacings. Bready malty, fruity aroma, hints of peach, red berries, a yeasty/alcoholic/herbal twinge, dry hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet, bready malty extremely phenolic, fruity, biting and burning alcohol, malty finish has hints of sweet bread and almond biscuit. Conciliatory finish, nevertheless one of these sweet, phenolic, Belgian guck beers, if not in maximum abhorrent execution - this style is and remains a grab bag.

Poured a clear dark amber with a long-lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is Belgian yeast and citrus. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a fruity, malt, resin hop bitter, alcoholic liqourice palate with a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Ok, but nothing to set is apart from the crowd.
