It’s fiercly bitter thanks to generous amounts of zeus, cascade and amarillo hops. But the bitterness is balanced by a large amber red body built by pilsener, caramel and münchener malts. The result is a beer that is interesting, but won’t wear out your taste buds. That’s ”sessionability”.

Can from the Malmo Hansa Systembolaget. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a skunky malt, light hop, light citrus bitter palate. Moderate to light bodied with average carbonation.

Canned (backlog, thanks CueSheet!). Pale golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is mild floral notes along with a bunch of grass, herbs and some bready malts. Flavour is floral, grassy, herbal, bready malts along with some sweetish malts as well. Fresh, and slightly better than bulk lagers.

Canned 330ml. -Clear amber coloured, medium sized creamy off-white head, some herbs and caramel in the nose. Weak malty, mild herbal hoppy and caramel with pretty short and watery finish. Expected better one. The can looks US but the beer tastes like Swedish macro. Pitty.

4.8% for 300 yen or so from Systembolaget. Apparently a "crafty brew" made by Carlsberg Sweden with funny all English packaging. I particularly like the "serve colder than a mother-in-law’s love" part. A very very light amber color with a thin head that dissipated fast. Well they nailed the fresh mown lawn aroma. Mostly just grass & a fairly neutral bitterness but I get nothing from the Munich & caramel malts. It is ok, not all that amber though...

Can 33cl from Systembolaget Malmö. BB 22-11-2013. Orangée, col fin beige. Arôme de pils, malté, fine note caramel, houblon neutre voire noble avec un léger bouquet herbacé. Palais de malt pils, cara en caractère dominant, légère amertume herbacée. Pointe citronnée avec un ajout Zeus, Cascade et Amarillo qui reste discret en rapport à l’apport malté. Dommage pour une bière qui enorgueilli d’utiliser trois houblons. Un essai plus ou moins réussi pour Carlsberg qui tente de reprendre du terrain sur l’essor ’craft beer’.
