Fles thuis geprobeerd.

***
Nice buckled bottle of pure fine beer with beautiful white foam. Strong raisins, sweet, cognac, malt, aszús very delicate aroma. On the palate, fortunately, in addition to the sweet notes, you can even feel some hops, but it is predominantly syrupy, sweet, honey-glazed, but very delicious. Perfect carbonation, a little inappropriate off-flavor for me (glucose syrup?) - but very good and highly recommended Belgian beer. Coriander and orange peel did him good.

Amber with a thin, creamy white head. Aroma full fermenting peaches, a touch rancid. Grainy and herbal too though. My nose does not pick out the advertised honey. Taste is sweetish, full of peaches, cherries and honey—all of it mixed together and ladened with the feel it’s been left alone in a dank cellar to do its thing for a few weeks. Goes down unforgivingly, but hides the booze for the most part. A faint tartness on the tongue afterwards. Interesting.

Honeyaroma, just a bit herbal. Sweet, bit herbaql taste with honey, mango and peach. Bittersweet finish. The bit herbal taste prevents the beer from becoming honeywater. Nice beer, surprisingly easy to drink. The honey hides the alcohol well.

Light amber colour, hazy, frothy head that does not stay long, beautiful lacing. Aroma is alcohol, white bread, some apricot, a bit of herbal hops. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Medium carbonation, does not feel too heavy. Too boozy.

Sorry, but the strong honey notes did not at all match the the typical Belgian strong ale. At least not in my world. Hopefully for others. The honey was quite prominent here. Also some yeast, fruity and malty. [Bottle from Gundersen]

The typical belgian yeast flavours come through nicely, the only thing is the alcohol burn on this beer is quite extreme, and a little overwhelming. D&S Dresden
