Horny Devil is our interpretation of a Belgian-style Golden Ale. Brewed with authentic Belgian ingredients including candi sugar and a Trappist yeast strain, its fruity and spicy aromas include notes of orange, banana, and peppercorns. Coriander seeds add refreshing citrus notes which meld seamlessly with the beer’s delicate malt. Horny Devil finishes with a lively carbonation and a refreshingly dry finish.

Bottle at a tasting. Basically feels like bubbly white wine. Almost like a champagne, just not a champagne :D general fruitiness, strawberries and other berries. Not exactly to my taste. This is what happens when Americans mess with old world traditions, fuck up, and still act posh about it. No mercy.

Keyaki backlog. Bottle pour. Pours a hazy copper with 2 fingers of soapy looking head. Very Belgian yeast forward nose with some sweetness and light citrus notes. Very much like a Belgian tripel. Sweet on the palate and kind of soft and fluffy. Citrusy bitter finish with good carbonation. Kind of one-dimensional but still tasty. Boozy as it warms though.

0,75L bottle (from beergium). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, fresh fruits, Belgian yeast, somewhat spicy, malt. Flavor is sweet, sugar, fresh fruits, citrus, apricots, spiciness. Alcohol is well covered (mostly by sweetness), drinkability is really good for ABV (I can session the big bottle by myself without any problems). Overall: good. It feels clean, but it is also a bit simple compared to some beers in the similar style. Still extra bump (+1) for drinkability...

Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok. Poured a hazy copper colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is Belgian yeast, alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry crisp yeasty, sweet malt, alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 20.06.16. Clear pale golden. White head. Fruity aroma and taste, with Belgian yeast, hay, citrus, coriander, unripe banana, dried fruits and alcohol. Good drinkability despite high ABV. Well-balanced.

Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. Hazy gold. Slim, dense, glossy topped, lasting, white head. Good looker. Nose is big on the Belgian yeast and coriander vibe, to the extent of coming over a bit savoury. Taste is sweet and savoury in equal measure. Soft, foamy mouthfeel. Pretty full, but the ABV is well hidden. Starts getting chewy, banana yeast sweet toward the finish. In the end it’s a bit hard work and chewy. Overall it’s big, but very simplistic.
