Blonde, 5,5% abv, hazy and opalescent, creamy head. Her nose is a mix of citrus fruits and flowers - thanks to the use of ‘forgotten’ hop varieties, grown with love in the south of Germany - with a note of ripe pear. It develops flavours of citrus, bergamot and kumquat, as well as notes of rustic cereals (spelt, wheat, and rye) and wild flowers. Its final is very dry, as the style wants it. A real thirst-quencher!

RB backlog, Bevog Festival 2018. Very classic aroma - yeasty, bitter fruity citric notes, grass, hay, hints of basement. The initial medium sweetness dries up nicely and leaves a hint of mildly dusty bitterness. Medium body with quite firm, pearly carb.

12 oz wine glass draft at The Sovereign in Washington DC. The pour is hazed light golden, with a well formed one inch white head, that falls with nice lace. The aroma is citrus, hay, floral all clean. The taste is the citrus, hay and floral of the nose and picks up a pleasant herbal yeast tone that has bright spiciness to it. The palate is medium bodied, natural carbonation and nice lingering yeast to the finish. Like all De La Senne beers, perfectly clean and immensely drinkable.

Hazy yellow. Aroma is grass, perfume, bergamotte, a bit of bonbon. Taste is very dry and chalky, a bit harsh actually. No complexity. Not my favourite.

Keg at Moeder Lambic. It pours crazy hazy yellow - gold with a thick white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, quite spicy, ginger, pepper, hay, floral, soapy citrus, grass and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, pithy, grassy, hay, cereal, soapy citrus, farmyard, funk, must, dirt and white bread with a dry, sort of spicy finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not bad.
