Smaakbeschrijving

Hazy cloudy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste wheat, floral, blossom, slightly perfumy, sweetish. Taste wheat, lightly blossom and floral, a slight bitter hint in the distance but mainly bitter. Ok body and carbonation. Not bad.

Tap at Jopen Amsterdam. Hazy yellow color, good white head. Citrus, herbs and sugar in the nose. Light-bodied. Fruity, yeasty with light herbal notes. Maybe fits to some food. Now not very interesting.

Thanks to Benzai! Bottle sampled @ “Hot & Sweaty RBBSG 2015”. Ingredients don’t list tulips, a real wasted opportunity. BBF 24/03/2017. Hazy orange, little white. Nose is light odd air refresher flowers (the power of suggestion?), fruity, apricot, vanilla, wheat,… Somewhat interesting. Taste is tad dull yeast, wheat, light candy, touch fizzy & some light fruity sweetness, tad other grains,… Not very exciting but pleasant enough to drink. Quite decent.

4/VII/15 - 33cl bottle @ RBBSG IV - BB: 24/III/17 (2015-878) Thanks to Benzai for sharing the bottle!

Little cloudy beige to yellow beer, creamy yellowish to off-white head, pretty stable, bit adheisve. Aroma: some chlorine, weird, very chemical, bit sweet. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very soapy, spicy, some citrus, not a fan...

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 24 Mrt 2017, medium sample. Cloudy yellow color, medium frothy white head. Aroma of grainy malt, wheat, flowery hops, hint of citrussy fruit. Soft bitter in taste, slight sweet, bit grainy. Nicely balanced, easy drinker. Good brew, though not too interesting style.

Bottle at De Paas. Pours cloudy pale golden with a big white head. Aroma of cheesy malt and smelly old socks, alongside light fruit and citrus notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation. Strange one this. Cheese beer.

On tap at Jopen Proeflokaal. Milky yellow colour, dense white head. Aroma is floral, soapy, citrus, wheat-like. Flavour is likewise, refreshing citrus from the spelt used, wheat, floral and soapy, bitter finish. Light bodied. Nice.
