A golden coloured IPA with a slight haze. A strong aroma of banana and cloves with a vibrant flavour of banana and melon. The beer has a very slight acidity from the Belgian yeast and a lasting bitterness.
Fladda Rock’N’Roll is brewed to the same recipe as fladda rock with one big difference, in this beer we have used a Belgian yeast. It is often said that the yeast makes up 20% of the flavour in a beer so we wanted to see how far we could push that. We brought in a special Belgian wheat beer yeast and added it to the brew. The results are superb and give the beer a completely different flavour profile.

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 1. Hazy gold beer with a small white head. Palate is light and dry, modest carbonation. Light brett. Dry pale malt. Sweetish citrus. Mild minerals before the dry finish. All right.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy, light phenolic and citrusy. Bitter, dry, phenolic. Light herbal, bone dry finish.

Draught @ Borefts Beer Festival, 2013. Pours hazy yellow with a off white head. Bubblegum, yeast and alcohol. Medium bodied.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Pours hazy yellow, much paler than expected in fact. Aromas are Belgian yeasty goodness, flowery hops and light citrus, some bready malt. Taste has light bitternes, light sweetness, and good tang from the yeast. Didn’t expect this to work as a cask beer, but it had a bit of spritz. Nice drop.

Sampled cask @ Borefts 2013. Hazy orange with a white head. Nose is fruity, citrus & onion fresh hops, hazy. Taste is a mix of said fresh hops + some floral notes, caramel, light brown sugar & thicker BE yeast, slightly mineral in the back. Nice cask body.

Tap @ Borefts ’13. Hazy pale yellow colour with a small white head. Has the typical Belgian smell, some herbs and somehow I smelled sperm in this. Hope that’s just my imagination though. Tastes a bit boring, malty, yeast and herbs. Thin body and low carbo. The regular version is better imo.

On tap at Borefts 2013. Golden. Definitely hoppy definitely estery yeast aroma. Actually pretty tasty. I like it. Good blend of flavours. Very good. Good spiciness. Lovely.

Had this at Borefts, Beer Festival, De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Friday 27th September 2013 Pours gold warm gold little hazy with a white rim of bubbles. Quite a crushing citrus bite, running with a dryness across the roof of the mouth. Really nice. Do I like it better that the Fladda Rock?, mmhh... nah bout the same. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Sampled @ Borefts 2013. Hazy yellow-golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, light to medium bitter, some lemongrass, grassy and citrussy. Medium body and carbonation. Better than expected.
