Bottle. Not very good. Taste just like hay. Smells extremely weak. Very pale yellow and very weak head.

From Apr 2007

This one pours from 12oz bottlea clear light gold with a large head of foam that hangs around quite nicely and has some nice sticky lacing.

The smell has a hoppy nose to with a touch of malt....typical of the style.

The taste has a slight lemony hop flavour up front with some sweet malt in the background and finishes crisp and dry. A good thirst quencher is what it is and that's not a bad thing at all.

From old tasting notes. Light yellow gold color. Bubbly white head. Mildly assertive hops in the bouquet. crisp, light, dry hops are nicely balanced by a firm malty backbone.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a yellow color with a half finger white foamy head that dissipated within about twenty seconds. There was barely any lacing and what there was of it just slid right on into the beer.
The smell had a weird burnt bready / burnt caramel notes to it.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with not much sessionability about it as I’m getting a weird cardboard - ness rolling over my tongue.
Overall, I can’t say I’d try this again.

Bottle. A- Cereal, citrus, wheat. A- Golden color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Cereal, watery, malty, citrus, wheat, slightly sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. O- Just like a glorified Bud Light. A decent beer with a little bit of flavor but still lacking a lot of qualities. Drinkable nonetheless.

Northwest style lager it says, does that mean lager loaded with Cascade hops? Maybe but I wouldn’t say loaded. It has a definitely Cascade citrus nose, but also cat urine and a load of buttery malts, and a cooked vegetal DMS component. Maybe more hops could have masked the flaws in their lagering, with more buttered malts in the flavored, couple with an almost bubble-gum type ester plus DMS. Thats not to say these flaws are over-powering because the beer as a whole is fairly light and bland, a fizzy lager. Not much hops come through in the finish at all, just a touch for balance at most. Halfway through the glass the nose is a real turnoff. I found that holding my nose while drinking it brought our more of the cascade flavors and even a little resin on the finish. Golden color, fizzy but small short lasting white head.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden with a thin whispery white head. The aroma is of soggy cardboard. Taste was wet grain.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving no lacing. Cracker and caramel aromas. Dry and watery with sweet caramel upfront turning to mild sour cooked corn in the medium-length finish.
