Provides a floral and herbal character that balances the refreshing German Kölsch style. A classic Kölsch is less bitter than a pilsner with a slightly fruity and sweet biscuit note. Creates a bright fresh flavor by using Alsatian Strisselspalt hops for a subtle lemon and grassy hop note. Another layer of flavor by aging the beer on a bed of Jasmine Sambac, a fragrant night blooming flower from Southeast Asia. The jasmine creates a delicate floral aroma and flavor for a complex and refreshing brew.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Slightly sweet pale malts with apple and banana hints. Very clean, nice flavors: base is pilsener malt flavor with lemony citrus, a little red apple and banana again, herbal finish. Quite pleasant, really.

Pours pale yellow into a Sam glass. Bright white micro head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Cereal and hay aromas. Dry with sweet grass from front to back. Lasting slightly bitter finish.

12 oz bottle into lager glass. Bought the summer variety pack at a local supermarket. Pours gold with a medium white head with pretty good retention; leaves a thick blanket of foam and some lace. Aroma is very floral; also, somewhat spicy. Taste is mostly sweet with a faint bitterness hanging around in the background. Has a grainy taste. Medium-high carbonation with a medium body. A fairly simple beer, but simple is sometimes just what the mood calls for.

12 oz bottle from Vons and a Summer Styles sampler. Nose is very grassy with notes of citrus, caramel and a tiny bit of bubblegum. Crystal clear yellow with a small yellow tinged head. Flavor is a hint of bitterness mixed with a peppery feeling and a little caramel.

12 oz. bottle. Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is straw, floral hops and honey. The flavor is tart and sweet at the beginning and malty and mildly bitter finish. The palate is powdery, lively carbonation, and light. Overall, a refreshing and subtly complex beer.

Pour is a bright gold with a large white head. Aroma is bready\grainy with a grassy hop. Flavor is floral with a decent dry cracker malt. Very clean finish and low bitterness. A decent rep of the style.
