Draft - Candy floss caramel and sweet citrus hops. Cloudy copper with a decent beige head. Up front pithy bitterness and some orange and pine. Decent.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours super hazy reddish orange color with a huge 2-3 finger light khaki head with insane retention that reduces to a thick cap that lingers. Loud hiss upon opening, and it took a while to pour this one. A lot of carbonation. Decent lacing on the glass. Aromas of orange, caramel, lemon zest, bread, pineapple, and herbal hops. Very malty aromas with decent strength. Taste of orange, caramel, biscuit, floral, lemon, herbal hops, pine, light tropical fruit, and a touch of pepper. Good amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, biscuit, herbal, and caramel on the finish for a bit. Very good malt balance with the bitterness make this easily drinkable for 7%. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a creamy, slick, and fairly crisp mouthfeel. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming after the finish present. Overall this is a pretty good IPA. Definitely drinkable and balanced.

A hazed amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, floral hops and clove honey notes, nutty. In mouth, a crisp malt with smooth floral hops, British, grassy, not bad, medium bodied. Bottle at Mondial 2011, June 11 2011.

Bottle thanks to my wife: Poured a orange copper color with a off white thin head. Aroma is sweet malts and hops. Taste is rich in malt and yet suttle hoppiness keep the tongue alive.

Deep dark, ruby-tinted copper coloured body with a thinnish tan head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of fresh english and pacific northwest hops with a full scent of pine and caramel. Medium to Full-bodied; Sharp bitterness hits first with a mouthful of pine and bitter hops. Aftertaste shows a bit more class, with caramel, malt and nuts in the palate. Overall, a very strong and up-front IPA, leaving nothing left to be imagined. Worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 14 July, 2006

After drinking dozens of American IPAs that are filled with citrusy hops, this IPA is refreshingtly different. It is a sweet IPA balanced with floral hops. Murky copper pour with a pleasing, big off-white head. Aroma of flowers and caramel. with the slightest hint of citrus and pine. The flavor is mostly sweet and balanced by a light to moderate bitterness. Medium to full body. Minimal carbonation. Somewhat sticky body. Long finish of floral hops and caramel sweetness. Well balance and nicely crafted.

Bottle courtesy of Sammy: Poured a dark brown color ale with a medium bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of bitter hops with some citrus characteristic is dominating. Taste is a well balance mix between some caramel malt and some citrusy and bitter hops. There might have been some English hops in there since the bitterness was more dry then usual. I thought this was relatively well done and slightly different then most IPA out there.

Deep coppery red body, medium tan head. Strong buttery diacetyl aroma, bready but with an emphasis on buttered popcorn. This characteristic dominated the flavor profile, too, which was otherwise cerealy and quite sweet, with an interestingly light emphasis on hops for this style. Lacks bitterness. The diacetyl was way too strong but this wasn’t a drainpour. However, for the diacetyl-phobic among us...
