A champagne-like body with a thin fizzy head. The nose features sour melon and a touch of acidity. This is a very refreshing and clean Berliner weisse with a very clean finish. Melons, lemon and some tropical fruit with a great balance of sourness, tartness and acidity.

Cask days 2014.
Tart wheat, tart apples, light citrus and ligt tangy melon notes. Finish is a little bitter with a really night tartness, that finish sour, with some green hop cones, and more melon notes.

L'acidité est franche mais pourtant bien dosée. La mousse et l'effervescence sont parfaites. Le melon est assez discret mais c'est un délice.

Pours hazy yellow gold into a snifter. Fresh lemon-lime peel aromas. Dry, with sharp, tart lemon upfront turning to a medium length grapefruit finish.

On tap. Pours gold with light head. Aromas of old apples and wheat with maybe a bit of green grapes. Flavors of tart melons, green grapes and salty wheat crisps. Dull in nose but sharp in flavor. Nice for the ABV.

Taster at Rouge Broadway durin QC 25 tap takeover event, shared with Brian. Pours a hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma is very fresh, sour, with rosehip berry notes. Similar taste. Quite good, very refreshing.

Pale. Bit dull looking, just a little bit of haze, and no head, so it looks kind of flat as well. This is supposed to be an effervescent style. Not a Berliner Weisse at all - it's clearly a kettle sour. You can sort of smell a bit of dry hop but wouldn't know what kind if they didn't tell you - maybe not enough hops in this to showcase the Hull Melon sufficiently. Tastes of kettle sour - that one-dimensional, underripe tree fruit sort of taste. Again, hops nowhere to be found. Pretty disappointing - below Dunham's standards for sure, and really more the sort of thing your average mediocre corner brewery would do.
