Bottle. CW online. Clearing out the cellar. Slow gusher. Super lively pour. Ends up mostly clear, conker brown. Noisy, thick, beige head. Nose has vine fruit and nutty malts. Flat cola. Notes of wet, dirty leather. Hint of vanilla. Taste is fairly sweet, and vinous. Some bitterness. Light to medium body. Way too much carbonation here. Drying on the palate. Dry and light bitter finish. Just a very poor effort at barrel ageing a beer, that didn’t warrant barrel ageing?

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Bruna con riflessi miele di castagno, limpida, schiuma avorio abbondante. Al naso note di frutta rossa, ciliegie sotto spirito, datteri, vino rosso, pollaio. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, ciliegiosa, leggera acidità fruttata. Corpo medio-alto, carbonazione medio-leggera. Particolarissima, molto buona!
